How it works
Contract
Lifestream’s contract has been designed to enshrine your rights:
- You retain full ownership of your home less the agreed portion you sell to Lifestream
- You can sell your home at any time – or stay as long as you wish. Its entirely up to you
- You will receive the agreed lump sum payment and monthly payments specified in the contract
- Lifestream will register a mortgage and a caveat over the property title. This is necessary to provide Lifestream with security for its share of the sale proceeds when the house is eventually sold. This mortgage does not create a debt or loan obligation you need to repay.
Prior to entering into a Lifestream contract, we require that you obtain independent legal advice. This should give you additional peace of mind.
